Higher corn futures on this last trading day of the week. A firm cash market and weather uncertainty provided support to corn futures. July soybeans traded sharply lower. Thoughts of the yesterday’s soybean rally being a bit overdone contributed to the negative tone. July corn up 10 ½ cents and July soybeans down 33 cents.

CME to Expand Trading Hours
Beginning, May 20 for trade date May 21, customers will have expanded access to CBOT corn, soybeans, wheat, soybean meal and soybean oil futures and options on CME Globex as follows:
Sunday to Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. CT
Open-outcry trading hours will continue to operate from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. CT Monday to Friday.
Nightly bidsheets will be based off of the 2pm close.
